Im a Millionaire!

Wow... just got this email. HOLY SHIT! I can finally buy everything Ive ever wanted!

the next of kin in a position to instruct HANG SENG BANK to release the
deposit to you as the closest surviving relation.
Upon receipt of the deposit, I am prepared to share the money with you in
half. That is: I will simply nominate you as the
next of kin and have them release the deposit to you.
We share the percent age 50/50. I would have gone ahead to ask the funds
be released to me, but that would have drawn a
straight line in my involvement in claiming the deposite.I assure you that
I could have the deposit released to you within a
few days. I will simply inform the bank of the final closing of the file
relating to Besem Faruak, I will then officially
communicate with my Bank and instruct them to release the deposit to you.
With these, all is done. I am aware of the

On a lighter note... my damn Sony desktop finally took a shit. Stupid Windows Vista wiped my ENTIRE computer to nothing. GOTTA LOVE IT.

Computer Woes

Woe to me.
I have two beautiful Sony Vaio computers, a laptop and a all-in-one desktop. One has Windows XP... the other has... hold your breath... Windows Vista. Oh stop! I hear your grumbling!

I HATE Vista with a PASSION! It worked just fine and dandy for the first year... then ALL OF A SUDDEN my DVD drive isnt showing up, my files are being deleted, I am supposedly a Victim of Software Counterfieting, and so on.
And to make things worse... my poor laptop got a virus (Im lending it to familia in MO... Love you guys!), so NOW my laptop has been virginized from all of my software, pictures and files.

Jeez. I am TOTALLY getting a MAC. NO MORE WINDOWS!!!!!!!

CPCIA Act... National Bankruptcy Day

There's a new bill that was signed into law on August 14, 2008 by President George Bush. It's called the Consumer Product Commission Improvement Act and it takes effect on February 10, 2009, now being dubbed National Bankruptcy Day.

It'll require all products intended for children 12 years and under and made by all manufacturers, big and small, to be tested for lead. Every single component must be tested individually. Thread, buttons, fabric, snaps, zippers, every single piece of the puzzle. I want to emphasize that, as you all know, I am a parent as well and I care very much about the safety of my children and all children who use my products. I welcome measures to further insure the safety of our children against the threat of lead, however such measures are only effective if they target the real risks.

It's killing me to think that everything I've worked so hard for is going to come to an end so abruptly. And unfortunately, it's happening to all the small businesses that sell baby/children's items. And it's happening to you too! They're projecting a 50% cost increase to consumers on products from companies that were able to survive the testing fee's. This includes ALL items intended for children. Cribs, slings, high chairs, cradles, apparel, shoes, and so much more.


I don't see The Luv My Bub Boutique surviving this law, due to all our vendors not being able to survive this law. To read more about this law or to sign a petition, please view the links below.

Chewed up Carrots.... on the floor.

While I sit here, staring at the chewed up carrots on the floor (left so graciously by my almost 2 year old son), I hear the sounds of Little Einsteins Books and a whacking sound (apparently my son has decided to read with his feet).
